Note: On the death certificate of her daughter ‎(Grace Matilda JACKSON nee WAITE)‎, Victoria's surname is recorded as 'LATHAM'. My theory is that the informant ‎(Grace's son/Victoria's grandson)‎ had never met his great grandmother ‎(Sarah LATHAM formerly HARDIE nee MCDONALD)‎ and would probably only have heard her referred to as Mrs LATHAM, which was the name of her second husband.
